For the past 15 years, I have been working in the Undergraduate Coordination Office and have closely observed the positive impact that a well-structured Student Government Association (SGA)—with engaged and active students—can have on the entire academic community. I believe that students’ active participation strengthens dialogue, brings students, faculty, and staff closer together, and helps build a more collaborative environment. More than just representing students’ interests, an active Student Government Association can make a difference in the undergraduate experience, making this journey easier, more enriching, and more meaningful for everyone.

As the program coordinator, I am very happy and proud to closely follow the work of the DAA. It’s really great to see the students’ involvement and the care they take in creating initiatives that bring people together, strengthen bonds, and make each student feel like a part of EBAPE. This energy, this spirit of collaboration, and our students’ leadership help build a community that is increasingly welcoming, participatory, and connected—and that is a source of great pride for all of us.

I may be a bit biased when it comes to talking about my DAA class, and I embrace that bias with great affection! You all have a special combination: infectious joy, surprising creativity, and the ability to turn ideas into reality. Thank you for the wonderful energy you share with us and for making the experience in the Business Administration program at FGV EBAPE even more vibrant! My hope is that DAA continues to rack up achievements and inspire new talent with each class. After all, a class also leaves its mark when it inspires those who come after to make things happen.
