Carreira in Loco is a program developed by the Internship and Career Development Center (NEDC), designed primarily for students who are halfway through their undergraduate studies and want to learn more about different career options before choosing an internship.
Over the course of about a week, students take part in visits to partner companies from different industries and of various sizes, giving them the opportunity to get a firsthand look at the companies’ daily routines, cultures, and areas of operation, as well as to talk with professionals and learn about different career paths in the job market.
The program takes place annually during the mid-year break, usually in São Paulo, where most of the partner companies are based. In previous editions, visits have been made to companies such as Google, IBM, Nubank, Ambev, Itaú, Bain & Company, BTG Pactual, L’Oréal, Volkswagen, XP Investimentos, and Stone, among other industry leaders.
