Field Project

Immersion in solving real-world cases from partner companies, connecting the classroom to the marketplace.

Abstract

  • Linking theory and practice to real-world market challenges
  • Support from managers and mentors throughout the semester
  • Relevant work experience to include on your resume

The Field Project involves solving, over the course of a semester, a real-world problem presented by one of the partner organizations—which may be private, public, or nongovernmental. The challenges span all areas of business administration and are linked to actual market trends.

Throughout the project, student groups are mentored by company executives and EBAPE tutors with industry experience. The project concludes with a presentation of the final project at the FGV Cultural Center for the entire EBAPE community and the general public.

The Field Project is a required component of the curriculum and takes place during the 3rd or 4th semester. It provides the most hands-on experience in the real world, offering insights that students can showcase in interviews and apply in the workplace.
