A Student Council is a student organization that represents students’ interests and serves as a bridge between the academic community and the institution. Its role is to listen to students’ concerns, propose improvements, and develop projects and initiatives that contribute to campus life.
At FGV EBAPE in Rio de Janeiro, this role is carried out by the Academic Council for Business Administration—the DAA FGV. We work to ensure that the voices of FGV Rio students are heard in the school’s decision-making process and to strengthen the EBAPE community through integration, events, projects, and other initiatives.
To promote the full integration of EBAPE by bringing students, faculty, and other programs closer together, in order to ensure the best possible experience in the university environment.
Strengthen the bond between faculty and students, responding to student needs and innovating in our projects, so that the DAA becomes a model within FGV—both in terms of initiatives and events, as well as in product development.
This department is responsible for external relations and the overall coordination of the DAA. It represents the Board within the institution and ensures strategic alignment among the various departments and initiatives.

Being part of the DAA was a very enriching experience. I joined the former project team, where I stayed for a year, and then served as president for another year. It was a place where I grew and developed a lot as a person, and I also honed my technical skills. This year, during my job interview, I even mentioned my experiences at the DAA, which have actually been very valuable for my current internship.
