EBAPE Freshman Checklist: What to Take Care of in the First Few Weeks
Registration, printers, transportation, tutoring, and the first freshman orientation: a practical guide for FGV EBAPE freshmen so they don’t miss a thing at the start of the semester.

The first few weeks at EBAPE are packed with information. This checklist outlines the things that often trip up freshmen and where to go to get each issue resolved.
1. Confirm your enrollment and course schedule
Check to make sure all your courses for the term have been entered and that there are no scheduling conflicts. Enrollment errors are more common than they seem, and the deadline for making adjustments is short.
2. Set up the school's printers
The DAA maintains a Printing Manual that provides step-by-step instructions on quotas, accepted formats, and solutions to the most common errors. It is available on the Student Support page.
3. Join the Tutoring Community
This is the group that brings together students with questions and teaching assistants willing to help outside of their scheduled office hours. It’s useful right from the very first set of exercises.
4. If you're new here, look for your Buddy
The program connects exchange students and students from other cities with an EBAPE upperclassman who serves as a support person during their first few weeks.
5. Don't miss the Freshman Welcome Week
It's the first major gathering of freshmen and upperclassmen outside the classroom. The date and ticket sales will be announced on the DAA's official Instagram account.
6. Save the right channels
Shark Informa provides the schedule and deadlines, details on our initiatives for the year organized by the DAA, and the anonymous ombudsman service in Student Support for when you need to report something without identifying yourself.
